A Glimpse of My Garden

We've been busy 'sprucing up' our garden areas - to bring some order to the chaos that was growing. :-)

Here are our two newest 'friends', 'Rusty' and 'Rosella'. The girls name every friend we have - whether it is a stuffed animal, wood carving, or lawn ornament. The good part is we plan to bring these 'friends' home with us when we return next year.

My favorite flower that I've found here is this beauty - Bird of Paradise.

This is just a flowering shrub. Don't know the name of it.

After clearing out much of the overgrowth in our flower beds,
this African Iris made an appearance.

I now have lots and lots of petunias in my flower beds here. They are thriving and doing well in the bright sunshine. Once the flower beds are more 'filled in', I'll post more pictures.
