Girls and Imaginations

So what's a girl to do when she has all this bamboo in her yard (that has been cut down by the gardener) - and she's been reading about Indians and the Colonists in the New World? She makes a teepee, of course!

Our girls have had a blast building their teepees. R decided to 'weave' the bamboo leaves around her structure for her walls. B made a beaded decoration to hang from her 'ceiling'.

The fun of being a kid with a great imagination!

Here's a 'funny' for you --- our housekeeper, upon seeing the girls' creations said, "Oh, they are building huts!" In Botswana, a hut is equivalent to a teepee I guess.

We continue to have a blast in this part of the world!

By the way -it is officially 'winter' here. Today's high was up around 70. Nice winter! No chance of snow here! It just isn't warm enough to get in the pool - yet!
