What the Girls Are Up To

Our girls are getting more and more accustomed to life on another continent. R has developed a strong interest in tennis. She's taking group lessons at a nearby school. However, since the other kids have been involved in other activities during their scheduled lesson time - she's had private lessons so far! Gets the coach all to herself. She is doing really well - perhaps playing tennis on the Wii has helped her backhand and serving? (hee hee) One of the 2 coaches said she's a quick learner and already has a really good backhand. She's our athletic one.

R is continuing to take piano lessons as well....she's in her 5th year of lessons. She misses her teacher back in in NC - but we're thankful to have found a really good teacher here.

And what little girl doesn't like horses????!!!! Our B is taking riding lessons. Her horse's name is 'Culboy'. She is having a blast. At the end of each lesson, she takes the saddle off Culboy and puts it away. Then she walks him to his stall, and removes his bridle and bit. (She does all this with one of the adults by her side - just in case she needs help.) For her next lesson we have to remember to bring carrots to feed Culboy! A treat for both the horse and B!

Hopefully the new camera will be here this week - or maybe next week - and then I'll have better pics!
